Cute kitchen tables with animal shapes

Desserts

I know they are not the most hygienic option but I can't help it, I love kitchen cutting boards made of wood. And I really like discovering models that play with different shapes in a creative way. They can give an original touch to the kitchen, and even fun, like these cute cutting boards with animal shapes.

It is a collection of three models that imitate the heads of three animals, a frog, a cat and an owl with rounded shapes. Actually the designs are very minimalist, with just a few basic lines that allow us to identify each animal, and that invites us to play a little with the food that we put on top.

These boards are the work of a German designer who signs under the name Studio Orijin, specializing in wooden products designed especially for children. As the author himself affirms, he intends to give his products a certain emotionality, at the same time that he pursues functional, durable designs that are aesthetically pleasing to the eye and to the touch.

He himself invites us to use his works to present food on the table, letting the little ones collaborate in the kitchen choosing the products and the way to place them on the table, so that they can play a little recreating the face of each animal. So they can collaborate on everyday tasks, while also entertaining themselves by developing their creativity.

The boards are handcrafted on beech wood and have approximate measurements of 21.8 wide and 20 cm high, with a thickness of just over 1 cm. They can be purchased through their website for a price of € 19.22 plus shipping. The truth is that it would be worth using these cute boards to cut on top of them, better to use them only to serve food, and why not, to play a little.
