Fine apple tart to release the new Magimix Cook Expert (also with traditional recipe)

Magimix Cook Expert is a complete and versatile multifunction machine. Of French origin and recently landed in Spain, This food processor incorporates all the necessary functions to prepare all kinds of recipes. From appetizers to desserts, through other recipes such as soups, creams, rice, fresh pasta, doughs, breads, stews, casseroles, sauces, biscuits, ice creams and much more.

Just a couple of weeks ago, Magimix Cook Expert came to my kitchen and I was looking forward to starting cooking with her and being able to share with you our impressions, recipes, recommendations and more. I premiere with one of the 300 recipes that it brings in the book that comes included with the robot. A fine apple tart that has been easy and quick to prepare, the base of the tart was ready in two minutes and the apple rolled in seconds, and to which my particular tasting committee has given a very good note.

So, suddenly, I did not dare to improvise. I have chosen to gain confidence with the machine through its 12 automatic programs, its food processor and its recipe book before launching to experiment. However, the operation is simple and intuitive, so I think it will not take long to do so and soon I will be making the most of the new Magimix Cook Expert.

Ingredients

For 6 people
  • Wheat flour (for the dough) 250 g
  • Egg M (for the dough) 1
  • Butter at room temperature (for the dough) 100 g
  • Icing sugar (for the dough) 100 g
  • Pinch salt (for the dough)
  • Golden apple 4
  • Vanilla sugar 10 g
  • Pinch ground cinnamon
  • Honey

How to make thin apple pie with and without Magimix Cook Expert

We introduce all the ingredients of the dough in the pot and program MASA / PASTEL. We remove the dough, roll and wrap in plastic wrap. We let it rest in the fridge for about 30 minutes so that it takes consistency and it is easier to spread on the basis of a 26 cm mold.

We peel the apples and cut them in half, removing the core. We install the transparent bowl in the base of Magimix Cook Expert, place the medium bowl with the 4 mm cutting disc and cut using the ROBOT program. In a few seconds we will have the four perfectly laminated apples (wonderful).

Prick the dough with a fork and place the apple slices over the entire surface, sprinkle with the vanilla sugar and cook in a pre-heated oven at 180ºC for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with a drizzle of honey and sprinkle with cinnamon before serving.

Traditional elaboration

In a deep container we mix all the ingredients of the dough by hand until obtaining a homogeneous dough. Wrap in plastic wrap and let cool in the fridge for 30 minutes. We peel the apples, remove the core and cut in half. With a sharp knife we ​​laminate each piece finely.

We spread the dough on the basis of a 26 cm mold-free mold, prick with a fork and place the apple slices on all of it. Sprinkle with the vanilla sugar and cook in a preheated oven at 180ºC for 30 minutes. Once ready, water with a splash of honey and sprinkle with ground cinnamon before serving.

With what to accompany the thin apple pie

Fresh from the oven, this thin apple pie cries out for a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a splash of caramel syrup. Although it can be eaten by itself and once cold, it is also slow to die. Perfect for the moment after dinner accompanied by a coffee or an infusion.
