Strogonoff beef. Delicious and easy recipe
For many, the consumption of red meat is no longer as attractive and they prefer to focus on seafood such as fish, seafood or vegetarians. However, some other people prefer to continue enjoying recipes that possibly include some red or white meat.
Today I propose you a delicious recipe for Strogonoff beef in a personal adaptation in which I will use purple onion and a little brandy among other ingredients. This dish is truly great if you're looking for something with a lot of flavor that comes out of the ordinary.

- Mushrooms 200 g
- Purple Onion 0.5
- Liquid cream 100 ml
- Dijon mustard 15 g
- Brandy 50 ml
- Laurel leaf 1
- Butter 25 g
- Sunflower oil 10 ml
- Ground black pepper

Cut the onion into julienne strips and the mushrooms into slices. Heat the oil and butter and fry the onion for about 3 minutes and then add the rolled mushrooms. Season with salt and pepper and leave about 8 minutes over medium heat to brown.
Meanwhile we cut the meat into strips of about 5 to 8 centimeters long that we add to the onion with mushrooms. Now pour the brandy, adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper to taste and the bay leaf. We let the alcohol evaporate for another 5 minutes in the lower light. Finally add the cream and the mustard, stir and leave the skillet half covered for about 10 minutes, always over low heat.
With what to accompany the beef strogonoff
The Strogonoff veal is perfect for a hot lunch or dinner and you can accompany it with some pasta or white rice. If you prefer to avoid carbohydrates, roasted vegetables will be perfect. I also suggest you accompany the meat with a full-bodied red wine so that the pairing is pleasant.
