Sobrasada omelette and Mahón cheese. Recipe


Today the food had to be fast, very fast. A complicated season is expected soon in terms of schedules, but good food does not have to be only elaborate recipes that take hours to make, and if not that they tell this recipe for omelette with sobrasada and Mahón cheese .

As you know, two very traditional products from the Balearic Islands, and at the same time delicious, and if we eat them in the same recipe, much better. Now, the Mahón that I like is the cured, but it is difficult to find it just like that in Madrid, but if you get it, do not hesitate.

Ingredients for 4 people

  • 4 slices of sobrasada of 1 cm approx. wide, 8 eggs, 200 g of Mahón cheese and olive oil.

How to make a sobrasada and Mahón cheese omelette

First we make the sobrasada on the grill, one minute on each side. And we reserve.

We make the tortillas individually. We beat two eggs, we add the cheese in small cubes.

We return a slice of sobrasada to the pan, add a little oil and the egg with the cheese. We let it set a little, and we turn around.

We leave one more minute and remove from the heat. We repeat with the rest of the tortillas.
