Spiced tomato omelette
One of the gastronomic preparations that offers us great versatility is the omelette. To enjoy an original and rich flavor, nothing better than a spiced tomato omelette, it is ideal for an informal dinner, easy to make and much easier to enjoy.
The ingredients 2 tomatoes, 6 eggs, a few mint and basil leaves, a little chives, 2 tablespoons of grated Emmental cheese, oil, pepper and salt.
The preparation Wash the mint leaves and the basil leaves, then dry them and cut into fine julienne strips.Also wash the chives and chop them small. Wash and finely slice the tomatoes and place the eggs in a large bowl to beat them, then add a little pepper, grated cheese, chopped chives and salt. While the oven is preheated to 180º C, arrange a round mold greased with a little oil.
Put the beaten eggs in the mold and place the tomato slices slightly overlapping each other over the mixture. Place the mold in the oven and cook for about 20 minutes or until you see that the egg has set perfectly.
Turn on the grill in the oven and grill for a few minutes so that a golden omelette is left. Remove the mold from the oven, unmold the tortilla on the serving dish and sprinkle the julienne that you prepared.
The tasting The omelette will be rich and tasty, accompany it with a few slices of toasted peasant bread, rubbed with a clove of garlic and with a drizzle of oil. Take advantage!
