Strawberry pancakes. Recipe

This weekend it was time to make pancakes, one of the most acclaimed dinner snacks in my house, you just have to drop that there are pancakes made so that the hallway becomes a running track, in a hasty race to see who arrives before to the kitchen. But this time I wanted to give you a little change and add an ingredient that I had wanted to try for a long time.

It is the strawberries, which are already in season and are beginning to be found at a better price. Well filleted and dipped in the dough, they come back to life lightly cooked to sweeten the snack even more with delicious strawberry pancakes.

Ingredients for three people

225 grams of flour, two tablespoons of sugar, two eggs, 300 ml of milk, a pinch of salt, two teaspoons of baking powder, 100 grams of strawberries and butter.

Preparation of strawberry pancakes

We beat the milk, the flour, the sugar, the eggs, the yeast and the salt, until we obtain a liquid and consistent paste. We let it rest for half an hour. Cut the strawberries into thin slices and once the resting time has passed, add them to the dough, mixing well.

Heat the griddle or a non-stick pan for pancakes, and once hot spread with butter. With a saucepan that serves as a measure we are adding small portions of dough, and after a few minutes, when we see that deep bubbles form, we turn around, leaving them to cook for a couple of minutes on the other side. We remove and keep warm until all are done. Serve immediately.

Tasting

The feeling of eating normal pancakes or some filled with fruit is very different. In the case of these strawberry pancakes, the fruit is cooked at the same time as the pancakes are made, so that it gives the impression that they are curdled with pieces of jam. To accompany you can use a maple or strawberry sipope, and of course, the cream is not missing.
