Tiramisu pancakes, quick and easy recipe for lovers of the popular Italian dessert

If tiramisu is among your favorite desserts, then these pancakes will seem like a dream. All the flavor of the classic Italian sweet in a format that makes it the ideal breakfast or snack. Our thing with these tiramisu pancakes has been love at first bite. Will it happen to you the same?

With the same ingredients (and some more), but integrated differently. Pancake batter with a touch of coffee, mascarpone cream and mocha syrup. The combination is brutal and the recipe is very easy and fast. If your mouth is watering, check out the recipe and go for it!

Ingredients

  • Water (for the syrup) 50 ml
  • Brown sugar (for the syrup) 40 g
  • Vanilla essence (for the syrup) 5 ml
  • Coffee (drink) (for the syrup) 15 ml
  • Cocoa powder (for syrup) 30 g
  • Mascarpone cheese (for mascarpone cream) 100 g
  • Icing sugar (for mascarpone cream) 15 g
  • Vanilla essence (for mascarpone cream) 5 ml
  • Wheat flour (for the dough) 115 g
  • Chemical yeast (for the dough) 5 g
  • Egg (for the dough) 1
  • Milk (for the dough) 100 ml
  • Melted butter (for the dough) 15 g
  • Coffee (drink) (for the dough) 30 ml

There are three components to these tiramisu pancakes: mocha syrup, mascarpone cream, and pancakes. per se. Ideally, prepare them in the order listed. So, when the pancakes come out of the pan, we just have to bring them to the table and enjoy them freshly made.

For the mocha syrup. Mix the brown sugar, coffee, water and cocoa powder in a small saucepan. We take it to the fire and heat until the sugar has dissolved. Out of the fire add the vanilla and reserve.

For the mascarpone cream. We just have to mix the mascarpone with the icing sugar and the vanilla. Mix well so that there are no lumps and that's it. We can give an extra point of flavor to the cream by adding a teaspoon of amaretto, but this is optional. We reserve.

For the dough of the pancakes. Put the flour and the chemical yeast in a deep container. Add the coffee, milk, egg and melted butter. We stir with a few rods until obtaining a homogeneous mass and without lumps.

We heat an iron to medium high temperature and drop small amounts of the dough. Cook for a couple of minutes or until small bubbles form on the surface. We turn and cook a couple of minutes more. We repeat the operation until we finish with the dough.

We serve the pancakes immediately together with the mascarpone cream and the mocha syrup. We can decorate with chocolate shavings, coffee nibs, banana chips, chopped and toasted almonds or any other stub to taste.
