Desserts

In this country there are chefs who dedicate themselves with care to pampering their restaurants, and others who, as Risto Mejide would say, make a product of their name. One of the latter is Martín Berasategui, who at this point in his career is becoming better known for his first steps in supermarkets than for his daily work in front of the stove.

Some time ago it launched a series of prepared food products, croquettes, creams and other foods in which the end point came from the hand of the client, and today we know that for next Christmas, we will have some nougat with its signature, in collaboration with the nougat businessman Enrique Garrigós. This product will be called Maestro Turronero Martín Berasategui and it will be sold in the near future in a limited edition.

Shoemaker to your shoes, I do not doubt that it is a good campaign to sell nougat, but I doubt that they will add anything new to the Christmas gastronomic panorama; the signature of a certain man does not guarantee the quality of the product, even more so when, as far as we know, this has not been the specialty of the Donostiarra cook.
