Cups of chocolate and mocha cream. Recipe
Yesterday my partner Manu told you that delicious desserts can be prepared without the need for an oven, this is the case with these cups of chocolate and mocha cream that I present today, so easy and so simple that they become a real temptation. With a slight coffee flavor you can prepare it decaffeinated if caffeine does not suit you or the children are going to drink it, since it would serve you perfectly.
This dessert, like almost all those that do not require an oven, needs a few hours of refrigeration for it to set, it does not remain an excessively thick cream but with a texture like custard since it does not have any type of gelatin or curd so that it acquires more body. You can prepare it to make it lighter with sugar-free chocolate and low-fat liquid cream.
Ingredients for six people
- 200 g of dark chocolate for desserts, 50 ml of strong coffee, 400 ml of liquid cream, 80 g of butter, 80 g of sugar, 80 ml of mineral water, 1 teaspoon of instant coffee.
How to make chocolate mocha cream cups
We start by chopping the chocolate in a small saucepan, we add the mineral water and the liquid cream. We put on the fire until it melts and bring to a boil, once it boils, lower the heat and cook for five minutes.
Add the liquid coffee, instant coffee and sugar, bring to a boil again and cook another five minutes. Add the butter into pieces and stir until it dissolves and forms a smooth cream. We distribute the preparation in the glasses and refrigerate for a minimum of two hours or better we leave it overnight.

The cups of chocolate and mocha cream are ideal if you like the mixture of coffee and cocoa, which I think is delicious. If you have a sweet tooth, you can add a point of whipped cream to accompany them, but of course that way alone they are already delicious and they serve perfectly to remove the bug of a chocolate craving.
