Desserts

Vera de Estenas Reserva, 2000 vintage, is a wine produced in the Vera de Estenas winery, which is under the Utiel-Requena Designation of Origin. It is a red wine, as its name indicates a Reserva (17 months in barrel and 14 in bottle) made with grapes of the Cabernet Sauvignon (45%) Tempranillo (50%) and Merlot (5%) varieties. Highly recommended for beef and aged cheeses.

It has recently been rated by Robert Parker as excellent, with a score of 88 out of 100. But who is this man?

Robert Parker is the editor of The Wine Advocate magazine, a prestigious international critic who has been described as the golden nose or the million dollar nose. His magazine has more than 40,000 subscribers in the United States (mainly) and in 37 other countries.
